When even one person recycles, we all win. We have contracted with Republic Services to perform all of our recycling needs. There is no need for you to sort acceptable recycling materials as it will be sorted once the truck dumps at the recycling center. Your recycle items are picked up in Homewood on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. The route schedule is above. Please roll your blue cart out to the front edge of your curb with the lid facing the street by 6:00 am on your scheduled day. If you need a recycle bin or need an answer about something related to recycling in Homewood, please visit Republic Services or call 205-923-1650. Recycling will not be picked up on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
